Daiwa Saltiga SK Jig is a versatile and extremely effective jig designed according to Japanese jigging principles. This is one of our favorites at Outside Travels and a lure we frequently use on our fishing trips abroad when we want to cover the entire water column and trigger bites from strong predatory fish.

The jig was originally developed for slow jigging but also works very well as a speed jig. Its well-balanced body ensures that the jig maintains stability even with faster retrieves and delivers clear kicks and strikes through the water. Perfect when fish want more speed or when you quickly need to cover larger areas.

During the sinking phase, the Saltiga SK Jig moves with rotation, flutter, and glide, imitating an injured baitfish. This erratic movement often triggers even cautious fish to bite. When the jig reaches the bottom or desired depth, simply starting to reel will bring it to life and make it work aggressively throughout the entire water column.

The Saltiga SK Jig is a very effective choice for tropical fishing for species such as GT, amberjack, and dogtooth tuna, but it also works excellently for lighter and medium-heavy deep-sea fishing for cod and pollock, for example.

The Glow Pink color provides high visibility and a clear silhouette in deeper waters and in low light conditions. The glow effect makes the jig extra effective when fish are deep or when light is limited.
