Shipping and Returns Policy

At Outside Travels, we want shopping in our webshop to feel as secure as the trips we arrange. Here you'll find everything you need to know about delivery, returns, complaints, and refunds. If you have a question that isn't answered on this page, please contact us, and we'll help you.
1. Delivery Time
Our normal delivery time is 10–15 business days. The reason for this is that we offer carefully selected products tailored to our fishing destinations, and we collaborate with several suppliers and warehouses across Europe. This gives you a better selection but sometimes means individual products take a little longer to arrive at our warehouse before being shipped to you.
We are constantly working to shorten lead times so that you receive your equipment before your next fishing trip. We ship with Bring and other local carriers depending on what best suits your order.

2. Shipping Costs
- Free shipping for orders over 999 SEK
- Orders under 999 SEK: shipping fee 99 SEK (shown at checkout)
- Bulky goods: shipping fee as specified at checkout
Any customs duties for deliveries outside the EU will be added and paid by the customer.
3. Partial Shipments
In some cases, your order may be split into multiple shipments depending on availability and stock status. This is so you don't have to wait for the entire order if one product is delayed.
You will receive an email update with tracking information for each part of your order. No extra shipping cost will be added for split deliveries.
4. Order Confirmation and Tracking
When your order is shipped, you will receive an email confirmation with a tracking link. Follow your delivery in real-time so you know exactly when the package will arrive.
If you have not received confirmation within 24 hours of purchase, please check your spam folder. If you find nothing there, please contact us.
5. Unclaimed Packages
If a package is not collected or received within the time frame specified by the shipping company, it will be returned to us. For unclaimed packages, we charge a fee of 399 SEK, which covers shipping costs to and from us, as well as any return fees from the carrier.
We recommend that you collect the package as soon as you receive the notification, or contact us if you have problems with the delivery.
6. Damage During Transit
Should your package or its contents be damaged during transit, please follow these steps:
- Inspect the package upon delivery. If the packaging has visible damage, notify the carrier immediately and ask them to note the damage.
- Take photos of both the packaging and the product before unpacking further.
- Contact us within 7 days at info@outsidetravels.com. Attach your order number, photos, and a brief description of the damage.
We will handle the matter with the carrier and get back to you with a solution. Usually, we will replace the product or refund the purchase, depending on your preference.
7. Incorrect Deliveries
Have you received the wrong item, or is something missing from your delivery? Please contact us as soon as possible, and we will resolve it:

We will, of course, cover the shipping cost when we send you the correct product.
8. Right of Withdrawal and Returns
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal according to the Distance Contracts Act. The withdrawal period begins on the day you received the item.
Here's how to return an item:
- Contact customer service at info@outsidetravels.com within 14 days of receiving your order. State your order number and which products you wish to return.
- Package the item. It must be unused and in its original packaging. Price tags and any labels must remain attached.
- Send it back. We will send you a return label via email to use when sending the package back to us.
Return fees:
- Standard return: 199 SEK
- Bulky goods: 499 SEK
The return fee will be deducted from the refund. In case of an incorrect item or transit damage, we will cover the return shipping.
Items not covered by the right of withdrawal:
- Products that, for hygiene reasons, are sealed and have had their seal broken (e.g., certain clothing items)
- Custom-ordered or tailor-made products
- Downloaded digital products where delivery has commenced
9. Complaints
As a consumer, you have a 3-year right to complain according to the Consumer Purchase Act if the item is faulty. If you discover a defect, you should complain within a reasonable time, which is normally considered to be within 2 months of discovering the defect.
How to make a complaint:

- Describe the defect and, if possible, attach photos.
- State your order number and the product concerned.
We will get back to you within three business days with how we will handle the matter. If the complaint is approved, we will cover the shipping costs.
10. Refunds
Once we have received and approved your return, we will refund the amount within 14 days. The refund will be made via the same payment method used for the purchase.
Any shipping costs for the order will not be refunded if the right of withdrawal is exercised, unless it concerns a faulty or damaged item. In that case, you will receive the full amount back, including shipping.
11. International Deliveries
We currently deliver to Sweden, Denmark, and Finland. Delivery times and shipping costs may vary for our neighboring countries and will always be shown at checkout.
For deliveries to other countries, please contact us at info@outsidetravels.com, and we will look at options together.
12. Dispute Resolution
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled an issue, we hope you will contact us directly so we can try to resolve it.
Should we not reach an agreement, as a consumer, you have the right to turn to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, arn.se. You can also use the EU Commission's platform for online dispute resolution at ec.europa.eu/odr.
