How do you fish in Guyana?
How do you fish in Guyana?
Fishing in Guyana is primarily done from a boat in jungle rivers, backwaters, and deep pools. You fish with spinning gear, topwater lures, jerkbaits, jigs, and in some cases natural bait, depending on the species and location. The methods are adapted daily to water levels, currents, and target species, and the guides will constantly help you choose the right technique for the best possible fishing in the Amazon.
How are the weather and climate?
How are the weather and climate?
The climate in Frovåg, Senja, is typical of Northern Norway, with fresh winds, clear air, and changeable weather. During the fishing season from April to September, temperatures usually range between 8 and 18 degrees Celsius – but some days offer brilliant sunshine and over 20 degrees.
When the sun warms the fjords and the sea is calm, fantastic fishing days await. At the same time, the sheltered coves mean it's almost always possible to find good fishing regardless of the weather. It's a good idea to pack layers and waterproof clothing, so you'll be ready for all conditions. The weather can change quickly!
