The Daiwa Saltiga SK Jig is a versatile and extremely effective jig designed according to Japanese slow jigging principles. This is one of our favorites at Outside Travels and a lure we frequently use on our fishing trips abroad when we want to cover the entire water column and trigger bites from strong predatory fish.

The jig's unique sink phase with rotation, flutter, and glide creates an erratic movement that makes predatory fish react and attack. Its aggressive action allows the jig to quickly reach the desired depth and continue to fish effectively all the way down.

When the Saltiga SK Jig reaches the bottom or the selected fishing depth, simply start retrieving to bring the jig to life. Its characteristic swimming action makes the jig kick and dart through the entire water column, which often triggers bites even from cautious fish.

The jig is designed for slow jigging but also works very well as a speed jig thanks to its balanced body and stability at higher speeds. A very effective choice for tropical fishing for GT, amberjack, and dogtooth tuna, as well as for deeper fishing for halibut and cod, for example.

The color Glow Pink provides high visibility and a clear silhouette in deeper water and in poor light conditions. The glow effect makes the jig extra effective when fish are deep or when light is limited.
