Daiwa Saltiga SK Jig is a versatile and extremely effective jig designed according to Japanese jigging principles. This is one of our favorites at Outside Travels and a lure we frequently use on our fishing trips abroad when we want to cover the entire water column and trigger strikes from strong predatory fish.

The jig was originally developed for slow jigging but also works very well as a speed jig. Its well-balanced body allows the jig to maintain stability even during faster retrieves, delivering clear kicks and movements through the water. Perfect when fish want more speed or when you need to quickly cover larger areas.

During the sink phase, the Saltiga SK Jig moves with rotation, flutter, and glide, imitating an injured baitfish. This erratic movement is often what entices even cautious fish to strike. During retrieval, a simple crank is enough to bring the jig to life and make it aggressively work its way through the entire water column.

The Saltiga SK Jig is a very effective choice for tropical fishing for species such as GT, amberjack, and dogtooth tuna, but it also works excellently for deeper fishing for halibut and cod, for example.

The Pink Iwashi color provides high visibility and a clear silhouette, especially effective in deeper water and low light conditions.
