Sea fishing Norway - Catch the fish of a lifetime
(53 products)
Sea fishing in Norway is, for most people, about halibut, cod, saithe and redfish along the coast of Northern Norway. Here you will find rods, reels, lines, jigs and clothing that can withstand the fishing up north.
Our fishing trips to Norway go to Lofoten, Andøya, Senja and Finnmark. A package trip usually includes flights, seven nights' accommodation, your own boat for the week, transfers and a fish box with extra baggage for bringing your catch home. Fuel and food are usually extra, while a guide, rental equipment and flotation suits are available as add-ons. The cost per person depends mainly on the destination, accommodation and how many of you are travelling, since the boat and accommodation are shared.
When it comes to equipment, you need to think heavy-duty. For halibut and cod in deeper water, a short boat rod in the 20–50 lb class paired with a reel that holds plenty of braided line works well. For shallower fishing and saithe, a longer spinning rod with a casting weight of around 100–150 grams is a good complement.
