Daiwa Saltiga SK Jig 200g Sardine

Daiwa Saltiga SK Jig is a versatile and extremely effective jig designed according to Japanese jigging principles. This is one of our favorites at Outside Travels and a lure we frequently use on our fishing trips abroad when we want to cover the entire water column and trigger bites from strong predatory fish.

The 200g weight makes this jig a very useful intermediate option, perfect when fishing in deeper waters or moderate currents, and needing to get down quickly without losing the jig's lively movement. A good choice when 110g is too light but 250g feels unnecessarily heavy.

The jig was originally developed for slow jigging but also works very well as a speed jig. Its balanced body ensures the jig maintains stability even with faster retrieves and delivers clear kicks and strikes through the water. This makes it effective both for methodical fishing and when you want to increase the tempo to trigger aggressive bites.

During the sinking phase, the Saltiga SK Jig moves with rotation, flutter, and glide, imitating an injured baitfish. The jig fishes effectively both on the way down and during retrieval. Once it reaches the bottom or desired depth, simply start reeling to bring it to life and work it through the entire water column.

The Saltiga SK Jig in 200g is a very effective choice for tropical fishing for species such as GT, amberjack, and dogtooth tuna, but also works excellently for deeper fishing for halibut, cod, and saithe, for example.

The Sardine color imitates natural baitfish and is a safe choice in clear water or when fish are selective and prefer a more realistic lure.

The jig comes rigged with a double assist hook on strong braided line, ready to fish immediately.
