Daiwa Saltiga SK Jig 300g Sardine

The Daiwa Saltiga SK Jig is a versatile and extremely effective jig designed according to Japanese jigging principles. This is one of our favorites at Outside Travels and a lure we frequently use on our fishing trips abroad when fishing demands control, range, and raw power.

The 300g weight is the heaviest size in the series and is designed for fishing at greater depths, in strong currents, or when fishing from a drifting boat and needing to quickly reach the fish. The extra weight allows the jig to reach the bottom efficiently without drifting away and maintains contact even in tough conditions.

Despite its heavier weight, the jig is balanced to perform excellently in slow jigging, but it also works very well as a speed jig. The stable body provides clear kicks and strikes even with faster retrieve, making it effective when fish are deep or prefer a more aggressive tempo.

During the sinking phase, the Saltiga SK Jig moves with rotation, flutter, and glide, imitating a wounded baitfish. The jig actively fishes throughout the entire water column and often triggers bites both on the drop and during the retrieve. Once the jig reaches the bottom, simply start reeling to bring it to life and make it work immediately.

The Saltiga SK Jig in 300g is a very effective choice for tropical fishing for strong species such as GT, amberjack, and dogtooth tuna, but also works excellently for deep sea fishing for halibut, cod, and saithe when current and depth require heavier lures.

The Sardine color imitates natural baitfish and is a safe choice in clear water or when fish are selective and prefer a more realistic lure.

The jig comes rigged with a strong double assist hook, sized for heavy fishing and large fish, ready to be fished immediately.
