Daiwa Saltiga SK Jig 300g Zebra Glow

The Daiwa Saltiga SK Jig is a versatile and extremely effective jig designed according to Japanese jigging principles. This is one of Outside Travels' favourites and a lure we frequently use on our fishing trips abroad when fishing demands maximum control, range, and strength.

The 300g weight is the heaviest size in the series and is perfect for fishing at greater depths, in strong currents, or when the boat is drifting quickly. The extra weight ensures the jig quickly reaches the fish without drifting away and provides good bottom contact even in challenging conditions.

Despite its heavy weight, the jig is well-balanced and performs excellently for slow jigging, while also being very effective as a speed jig. The stable body delivers clear kicks and strikes through the water even with faster retrieves, often triggering aggressive bites from fish holding deep.

During the descent, the Saltiga SK Jig moves with rotation, flutter, and glide, imitating a wounded baitfish. The jig actively fishes throughout the entire water column and often entices bites both on the drop and during the retrieve. Once the jig reaches the bottom, simply start reeling to bring it to life instantly.

The Saltiga SK Jig in 300g is a highly effective choice for tropical fishing for strong species like GT, amberjack, and dogtooth tuna, but it also works excellently for deep sea fishing for halibut, cod, and saithe when conditions require heavier lures.

The Zebra Glow colour provides high visibility and a clear silhouette in deep water and in poor light conditions. The glow effect makes the jig extra effective when fish are deep or when light is limited.
